Hair Today, Here Yesterday: Cricket No Day

August 26, 2006 / by indian1111

My-My! What mess Hair is in...poor chap, he after all is asking 'only' 500,000 quids to quit. There are a few 'serious questions' I would like to ask:

1. Did Pakistan bribe him to earn the distiction of becoming the 1st country in 129 years of Cricket test history to forfeit a match?
2. Was he a such a bad umpire that he reasoned with himself that if he asked even half a million dollars, the ICC would be glad to let him go after paying him off?
3. Umm..Now the most delicate question...Harbhajan Singh, Muralidharan........etc etc....all are not from Australia...coincidence?
4. When the teams now a days say that they have a secret weapon, do they mean " Darrel Hair"?

To start with it was our 'friendly neighbour ' Shakoor Rana. Of course the turn of events is making the matter more sour, with The Kangaroo Cricket Board ( Kangaroo court??!![WINK] ) asking for non Asian umpires to officiate in The Ashes. I would not be surprised if there is a vertical split in ICC..nah..I am not a doomsday preacher.
